I'm a dad to two crazy, beautiful kids, and becoming a dad changed the way I think about photographs.

Growing up, family life wasn't always easy or settled. We moved house a lot, and I didn't get to see my dad as often as I would have liked. The photographs I had of those happier times became incredibly important to me—Christmases, holidays, birthdays, and ordinary days where we were simply together and happy.

Those photographs gave me something to hold onto. They were little pieces of a time that had passed, but somehow, whenever I looked at them, I could go back there for a moment.

That's really why I photograph weddings.

Because life moves on. Families grow, children change, people grow older, and our lives head in directions we never quite expect. But a photograph can stop all of that for a second.

One day, my own children will look back through photographs of themselves being silly, laughing with their family, running around at Christmas or simply being together. I won't be there to explain every little moment, but the photographs will still be there.

And that's what I want to give you.

Not just a collection of beautiful wedding photographs, but something you can hold onto. Photographs that take you back to the people you loved, the way you felt, and the little moments you might otherwise have forgotten.

So yes, I'll photograph the big moments — the ceremony, the first kiss, the speeches, and the dancing.

But I'll also photograph your dad laughing at something during the speeches, your best mate losing it on the dance floor, your nan giving you a hug, and the look on your partner's face when they think nobody is watching.

Because those are the photographs that become more valuable as the years pass.
